OOPs, He did it again!

Hello All! So today's proof is an extension of yesterday's which is similar yet different! I shared yesterday that that young lady got that job offer from God himself and received her onboarding packet today! Turns out that it is a 2 week assignment but at least it would help her get through until something more permanent comes along! She is very grateful that God showed her his love her and that is what matters. So today I am out and about and doing bunches of stuff when I thought to myself let's ask God for a lil more assistance! I asked that he please show her a more permanent opportunity. Of course I ended with thy will not mine be done! Shortly after a zip recruiter ad showed up in my email for a company that just moved and is growing into a large aerospace company! They said they need quality people and to submit a resume or go in person and ask for Johnny! I told this young lady at 3:20 this afternoon and by 3:30 we were in the car go to see Johnny! We went through a ton of traffic through downtown but we stood fast. We got there and she went in and yep you guessed she asked for Johnny! Ha! He had fill out the app then they took on a our and tested her skills and knowledge. They were excited she had experience in what they needed her to do. They even did can you lift this 60 lb box and she did for a few seconds and he smiled and told her just checking. He told they keep getting flaky applicants and she let him know she was a serious woman. He told her he would call her and thanked her for coming! She left feeling incredibly positive about the experience and felt he genuinely enjoyed her efforts! The point is this a permanent job and even if she doesn't get it the other job that is temporary is 5 miles closer than that one so I got to see if I could handle getting there and back and I can. Either way she and I can rest this weekend knowing there is a job one way or another and it is because we kept talking to God and he kept answering. Stay tuned for the conclusion of this story if and when he calls. I believe he will because God sent that to me in email and I wasn't even looking. We got into the solution did the footwork and did our part and then we leave the results up to God cuz he in the results business. A right now God!

Hello All! Today's proof was awesome in my book! I was at the DMV trying to get a replacement license and I brought one of the Sober Living residents with me! They stayed in the carr and filled out a job application on their phone! This young lady has been putting in a ton of applications over the last month to no avail! While I was in the DMV waiting, I asked God to please help her find the job he would have her perform or show us if there is anything blocking her way! I also promised to hold hands and pray a similar prayer asking him to show out in a way that allows her faith to grow! This is important because she is at the 3rd step where one makes a decision to turn their will over to their God. When I got in the car I asked her to hold hands which caught her off guard. She agreed and I said the prayer. When done she giggled and I asked why! She told me that while I was in there she received a call from a staffing agency and the job she applied for was gone but there was one opening up on the 2nd and although temporary it would give her income until she found something permanent or another opportunity with that staffing agency! I then told her what I prayed in the DMV and she saw God work in the only way I know him to. RIGHT NOW! If we demonstrate that kind of faith he will act right now in our moments so that he may be glorified and honored! She didn't even want to come but because she did all of that happened in synchronicity and allowed her to see her God loves her and has her in his loving arms. Man is God always on time and Good! Back at it!

Guess who's back, back again! Craigy's back, tell your friends! Craigy's back, Craigy's back, Craigy's back dunnunna! Hey if we can't laugh at ourselves we are missing the point! Right on?

On a more serious note! After a few months of building and developing a sober living home with some success, cross your fingers! I am now able to get back to this work that God has shown for me to do! The daily proof is back and Friday I will upload my first ever God Pod! I hope I don't mess that up! Truthfully I don't even know if what im doing is a podcast or not! There will be a video and a message for sure though! Stay tuned for some fun filled, spirit filled moments!

As for today's daily proof! I have been having a week of high intensity challenges! One after another after another! Then today happened and it got real intense and I had to spend all day talking to God which is never a bad thing! After dealing with all this I got home and closed my garage door and when I entered the house a loud bang came from the garage! The Door was caput! My car was locked in and I promised to meet some folks at the meeting house tonight! I remembered an old member who did garage doors. I still had his number and texted him and found that he is still doing garage doors! I told him my situation and he said he wasn't sure he could get here and get it done in time because he was headed to another job! Then a minute later, he text me back and said, "scratch that, they just cancelled I am on my way!" He got here and ten minutes and $300 later it was fixed! During that time it was evident that he had been drinking quite a bit! We chatted and he told me there is something very different about you since I last saw you! He told me that it seemed that 'I was way chill now'. I told him how the last five years have altered my emotional and spiritual growth. He said, "man, I have to get back to meetings and quit drinking." I quickly told him 'yeah you do'. I then gave him a free copy of my book which he was very grateful for and he was excited for me and looked forward to reading it. He may or may not but maybe today will spark an interest or the book may spark an interest/ Either way I got to be of service as he got to be of service to me. He couldn't make it remember and after having the week I have had, that was just going to be another blow. God had different plans. He cancelled that other appointment so I could get my door fixed and fellowship with a friend in dire need and get to the meeting to support a great friend!

I say all that to say this. I didn't once this week lose my stuff! I just kept taking to God and listening for direction and he came through the most humbling way possible. he used two men on different ends of the health timeline be of service to each other. I never even once thought of any kind of self destructive behavior I just kept leaning into my God and he showed out. That in turn brought me back to what the whole purpose of my book and this site is.

Let's share our God stories with each other in a fallen world so that the conversations become hopeful instead of divisive. I am not here to bring the world together but I truly believe we can through sharing all the good the God we each choose to serve has and is doing in our lives!
