This is how it works!

Everyday I wonder if I wasted my time writing this book and setting out on an endeavor to raise money to open a long term sober living facility that anyone can afford and then; this happens. I was minding my own today and I received an email from someone I met 38 years ago. She was my very first teen girlfriend and love! She had gotten my book and asked if I would call her. I took this as an obvious God moment and I called her. We talked and there were some tears but then there was hope shared that her life can get better and that the life she has is already better than she thought. I told her I would be willing to talk and listen at anytime and I truly believed that if she read the book she would see what is possible for her. She told me she just bought a pink High-liter and was going to hang up and start reading right a way! She later emailed me that the last page in the book was her birthday 03/14 which she took as a message to keep reading and trusting the process.

.This happens every time the evil thread of doubt creeps in just a little bit and suddenly, God shows me I am on the correct path! After the call; I received messages from 4 folks telling me they are loving the book. Doubt is silly especially when we are working toward God's will in our lives. We must always remember that if God wants a thing to happen there is no way to stop it. Subsequently if it something he doesn't want to happen he will block it immediately. I will always be grateful to Sally for teaching me the block it or bless it prayer some 20 years ago. I must always strive to align myself with what God wants and the way to find that is by doing the next right thing. God wants us to do good not bad and right not wrong and that is the purest way to do his will. I stay focused on what is correct as much as possible and he lays before me the next step. Today he laid before me a conversation with a woman in need and followed it up with encouragement from 4 others. My God is Big and awesome and I bet your God is too!
